6abc Philadelphia
I began my career at Philadelphia’s legendary WPVI-TV—Disney/ABC’s powerhouse local station and a city institution. For anyone from Philly, 6abc isn’t just a channel—it’s part of the city’s DNA. I started as an intern and afte working in the mail room, phone operator, receptionist, and overnight news producer, I worked my way up to Creative Marketing Producer. Working the night shift gave me hours to experiment and create. Some of those late-night projects made it to air—and a few even won awards. But more importantly, it’s where I fell in love with brand storytelling. Writing, producing, and editing promos for one of the country’s most iconic local stations taught me how to tell a story—or make a pitch—in fifteen seconds flat. It’s also where I learned the most valuable lesson in marketing: trust is everything. The product of a news station isn’t the broadcast—it’s belief. WPVI’s long-time tagline, “Trust is Earned,” was more than a slogan; it was a truth I’ve carried ever since. Like building a brand, trust takes time, consistency, and integrity. It can take a lifetime to build—and only a second to lose. Here are a few of my favorite spots—the ones I wrote, produced, and edited, and couldn’t help but stop to watch every time they aired.
